Sports App Development Company Seeks Dynamic Marketing & Communications Interns to Connect with Fans In-Person and Through Social Media

We are looking for marketing & communications interns to join us for the spring/summer/fall. These are paid positions with the potential to grow into full-time opportunities. We’ve assembled a team of the best in the biz with a fantastic collaborative workspace to fuel creativity and growth.

 

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the development of strategic marketing & communications plans, as well as the tactical implementation of those campaign strategies. Additionally, we are looking for team members with infectious energy who thrive on communicating and collaborating across internal teams; have the professionalism to work with clients; and a genuine enthusiasm for meeting and talking with sports fans.

 

Here are a few of the additional tasks associated with this role:

  • Engage with fans in our TennisONE App Central/Rewards booth at each of our pro tennis tournaments & and other sporting events

  • Train volunteers and other client partner staff at tournaments & other sporting events

  • Create powerful content that can be posted in the app fanstream and shared out to social media sites

  • Shoot photos and videos that add value to the fan experience and broaden our reach

  • Analyze app data to highlight areas of success for post-tournament case studies

  • Represent our brand at various sports/marketing tradeshows, conferences, & events

 

What you need for this position:

  • Charismatic personality – not afraid to talk to anyone – fans, execs, sponsors, or even celebrity athletes

  • Creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—NOT an agency/consultancy mindset

  • Fast-acting problem solver who can think on your feet and put out fires if they arise

  • Strong social media enthusiast

  • Available to travel without calendar constraints

  • Passport required for International travel

 

Preference given to:

  • Storyteller journalist types who can turn content quickly

  • Individuals with photo, video, & editing skills to create in-the-field social content

  • Individuals with graphic design skills who can create attention-getter graphics and social media posts—those who are proficient in Adobe Suite platforms will be given strong preference

  • Multi-lingual applicants – particularly French, German & Spanish
