Job Duties:

• Design and implement a test automation framework to dramatically reduce manual testing

• Help foster a culture of testing throughout development and product management

• Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to participate in the development of project schedules, executing test plans, and delivering high quality products in a rapidly changing environment.

• Perform testing of mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms

• Plan and conduct essential testing at each stage of development such as smoke, functional, regression, ad hoc, GUI and browser compatibility testing on both mobile and web applications

• Create and write test automation scripts

• Originate test strategies and lead/participate in test case walk throughs

• Collaboratively develop and execute quality assurance test plans based on planned features and requirements

• Review feature plans and help resolve ambiguity with product owners and developers

• Provide testing updates at daily stand-ups

• Work with client and server developers to identify, isolate and resolve software bugs/issues

• Document issues using Jira and other Atlassian tools such as Confluence

• Develop and maintain data sets used in testing

• Instrument, collect, analyze and report on build and app performance metrics

• Update regression test suites to account for new features and changes in existing features

Essential Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of software development quality assurance experience

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and processes

• Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests for iOS and/or Android mobile applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Technical curiosity and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to self-learn and collaborate within groups
